The main aim of the choir has always been the same - to sing, for
our own enjoyment and that of our audiences, music of a wide variety
of styles drawn from the 16th to the 21st centuries, performed to
a high standard. Not every piece may be to everyone's taste (in the
choir as well as the audience!) but if that's so, hopefully something
will come along shortly afterwards that will appeal. Tallis, Bach,
Mozart, Rossini, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninov, Elgar, Sullivan,
Vaughan Williams, Gershwin, Lennon/McCartney and Lloyd Webber have
all featured in previous concerts.
