June is set to be an exciting month of music for The Harlequins! We have not one but TWO concerts at the end of the month with a fantastic range of music for all tastes. For both concerts, tickets are just £7 (£6 concessions, £3 schoolchildren) and are available from Kieranbird5@gmail.com or on the door. Here are the details…
Summer Serenade – Saturday 22 June 2013, 7.30pm
@ St James Priory, Whitson Street, Bristol. BS1 3NZ
The Harlequins’ first summer concert, featuring a wide range of summer choral music, including pieces by Whitacre, Stanford, and even UB40!
Having been on tour to Hamburg earlier this year, we are now looking forward to this lovely concert full of summer music! There really should be something for everyone, and refreshments will be available during the interval.
The concert will be raising funds for St James Priory, who do great work in the local community, including providing residential accommodation and support for people in recovery from addiction. For more details see http://
The building itself is the oldest building in Bristol, and its beautiful interior will be a lovely setting for the concert.
It is located close to the St. James Barton roundabout next to the bus station.
